Fall Cheer Program Information
- Wildcat Cheerleading will start in late July. Practice will be 4 nights a week at Jaycees Field from 6pm - 8pm until school starts. Once school starts, practice will be 2 nights per week. Practice nights will be chosen at a later date.
Games begin the end of August. Games will be Saturdays. Games are usually about 2 hours long. The girls perform during halftime. We cheer at home and away games. Cheerleaders will need to travel as necessary to away games. If football teams make the playoffs, we will cheer and continue to cheer until the football season is over. We walk in the Westminster Fall Fest parade in September and perform on Sunday during Fall Fest, on Longwell Avenue.
Starting October 1, cheer moves inside for indoor practices. The location(s) will be determined once we receive confirmation letting us know what we have available. Practice nights could vary based on what indoor space we have access to. When we move inside to practice, they are closed practices - coaches and cheerleaders only.
We will participate in 2-3 competitions during the fall season. As we get closer to the competition dates, we will add an extra night of practice, to help prepare the cheerleaders for each competition. We will participate in a CCFL League competition – location to be determined.
Cheerleading is a team sport. Other activities cannot conflict with practice, games or competitions. Once we are inside schools, flexibility is needed. Practice nights can be switched based on scheduled school activities.

* Based on registration numbers, your cheerleader will be placed accordingly.
* Your daughter’s cheer squad placement is based on her age as of August 31, 2025 as well as her skill set
Cheer Registration Costs
$350 - Registration Fee (includes cheer uniform: top, skirt and jacket)
- Black shoes not included in registration and must be purchased separately.
Registration Discounts Offered
Discounts are $25.00 for each sibling after the first fully paid registration for children living in the same household.
MVA/League ID CardsMVA cards must be provided for your cheerleader to me prior to the first game in August. If the MVA card is not received, the cheerleader CANNOT participate in any games or competitions.

Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued after the first week of practice. All refunds must be submitted in email form to westminsterwildcatsvp@gmail.com by August 5, 2024. Any refund which is issued will be subject to a $14.95 administrative fee. Price of any items ordered prior to the refund request will not be refunded.
